About Parx
Parx Racing is a Thoroughbred racetrack and casino in Bensalem, Pennsylvania, northeast of Philadelphia. The track opened in 1974 as Keystone Racetrack, was later known as Philadelphia Park, and took the Parx name in 2010. It races on a one-mile dirt oval and offers live racing for much of the year. Its signature events are the Grade 1 Pennsylvania Derby for three-year-olds and the Grade 1 Cotillion Stakes for three-year-old fillies, run together on a marquee September day. The venue is among the largest gaming complexes in Pennsylvania.
