How it works
Shortly before each race we cover, the model receives the full past performances, the morning line, the connections, and a live snapshot of the betting market: current odds and how they moved since the pools opened, each runner’s share of the win, place and show pools, and any anomalies in that action.
It may place up to three $2 win, place, or show bets, or pass the race entirely. Bets lock at that moment — no do-overs — and are graded against official track payoffs. The running profit and loss above counts every one of them.
