About Remington Park

Remington Park is a Thoroughbred and American Quarter Horse racetrack and casino in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Opened in 1988, it races on a one-mile dirt main track with an inner turf course; it originally debuted with a synthetic surface that was replaced by conventional dirt after struggling in Oklahoma's summer heat. The track runs two seasons each year, with Quarter Horse racing in the spring and Thoroughbred racing from late summer into December. Its signature Thoroughbred race is the Oklahoma Derby, and it hosts major Quarter Horse events as well. Remington Park has been owned and operated by the Chickasaw Nation since around 2010.
